Video plays an integral part here at Hope. A video
team is vital in creating ministry specific videos for internal
use and for producing creative videos for use in the weekend services.
Both creative and technical volunteers are needed—experienced
or with a strong desire to learn.
For more info, or to sign up for one of the following
video team opportunities, contact Corrie Brown at corrieb@gethope.net
or 532.0620 x107.

in video production.
Camera Operators are needed for
all video shoots. They need a steady hand, a good eye, and a desire
to learn the technology of each camera with which they work. Besides
using various cameras, they should also be interested in learning
other related equipment such as fluid-head tripods and steady
cams.

Audio Technicians for video shoots
are used to ensure the best audio recording on location. They
should have some audio knowledge or background and are depended
upon to make sure the audio is the best quality available given
the equipment and environment. They should have a working knowledge
of microphones and be willing to learn about wireless and boom
miking.

Production Assistants help make
producing a video run smoothly. They are on location and record
the video shoot time table and make notes on the shots. They have
a good eye for detail and can recognize inconsistencies during
shooting.

Prop Coordinators help gather,
transport, and set up props for video shoots. They may need to
make trips to stores to purchase supplies, or make them on their
own. They should have a strong desire to scavenge for the perfect
prop and be willing to get crafty if the need arises.

Video Editors should love getting
into details. They are probably a perfectionist at heart and are
committed to making the video the best it can be. Experience is
necessary, although those interested without experience can be
trained to take on this role. Currently all editors need their
own editing computer at home preferably with some version of Final
Cut Pro.

Video Librarians are needed to
catalog all the video tapes currently in storage. Someone with
strong organizational skills would be perfect at setting up a
system to track all raw footage.
