Hope on the Homefront

Our Mission
Hope on the Homefront is a project based ministry that seeks to improve living conditions for local homeowners in need. We demonstrate God’s love through our service and compassion for under-resourced families in our local community, and provide ongoing opportunities for volunteers to serve their neighbors.

Project Overview
We use volunteers to connect on specific projects for a common goal of making an impact on local families in need. Projects are referred to us through our Hope Community Church. Once specific projects are selected, ministry leaders complete an assessment of all materials, labor and time needed to complete the project successfully. We then communicate the needs to our volunteers who select the area that best utilizes their gifts including leadership, carpentry, painting, landscaping, clean up, prayer, organization and decorating.

Most projects are completed on Saturday mornings between 9am and 2pm. The day of the event, we encourage the homeowner to participate in the repairs and meet the volunteers. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to meet and interact with other believers, as well as an ideal opportunity for small groups to serve together.
